What Are Your 2020 Goals?

I am so excited for my goals, but I really want to know what your quilting goals are and how I can help you. I want to practice my points, I want to make it a habit to trim down and be more accurate with my measurements, and I want to hone my designing skills.

I am so excited to hear your goals and work to achieve our goals together! Let's move forward.

    I want to get all those beautiful tops I did that you designed for us quilted. I did get wonder triangle rulers by Marti Michell for Christmas so would like to do stellar elegance and diamond rings once I get some fabric picked out for them. Practicing points is a good goal.

    First I want to finish my UFO's and clean up my longarm quilting room. I need to downsize back to a more functional room. I can barely walk around the frame :-)

    Well for the time being as I am new to the mystery quilt concept I will just watch for the 1st half of the year as I have a number of projects to finish, before I start anything else. I am doing a quilt each for our children out of family lace I inherited, and it is more complicated than I first thought.

Mystery Quilts Anonymous With all the feedback from yesterday's blog, I just wanted to give you a bit more info to ponder and think on. Firstly, I need to be honest, since our beginning I have given this group and it's members 1,000 percent of myself and my designs. I make NO money off the patterns and time spent. I want to keep the patterns free. I love that so many can make them and love them. I feel we have so much talent out there and I love tapping into that talent and providing patterns you love. I have been trying to think of other ways to make a little money for my "work". SO, I am thinking I will start a "real" blog and use the advertising as a source of income so the patterns and our facebook page remain free. Mystery Quilts Anonymous   I have been in contact with a number of fabric manufacturers and I wanted your opinion on something... I am wondering if you think I should offer kits for our mysteries. If I offered something like that, would you purchase the kit or would you order your own fabrics? I would organise the kit with the manufacturer and you would order direct from them (at least, that's what I am working toward right now). I have heaps of ideas in my head...offering the kits in more than one colourway, including binding yardage, even using fat quarter (or other pre-cuts) packs for scrappy looks....    If you already have a stash like mine, you may not want to order for a specific quilt. But, I would love to make it available for you. If you can think of any other way I can make this easier for you, please please please let me know. I have a stash that will outlive me, so I am sharing mine with my granddaughters (and those grandsons that want to sew) and we us

New Beginnings, Fun Times...

I am so happy to introduce you to our own blog. This is where all new things will come out and we can have a central place to always go back to. I will keep our "history" here and I can't wait to fill the pages with our fun and our story as we go!
