Great plans for 2020....

Retreat: June 11- 15 ... I am so exited for this! I have so much planned for this and have so many things planned for this. Day trips to fabric stores, local attractions, sewing, sewing, and sewing!!! I have a beautiful quilt designed and am working on the instructions now to have it completely ready for you.

Just ask about the retreat and I will be happy to share all the details with you. We are so anxious to have you here....



I have several mysteries planned and even a few one day quilt alongs planned. We had so much fun New Years Day with our Picture Perfect quilt, we need to do that MORE! I am going to be adding more blocks in the row-by-row files. I want to do a BOM (or BOW) to increase our skills with points, etc. I am so excited for all I have planned for this year. We are going to be so busy and have SO MUCH FUN!

If you find any tiles on floors (I am working on Dublin Dreams...based on tiles in Ireland), I would love to see them, I am inspired by your travels and the finds you come up with to design with. Please send those pics! Challenge me to design quilts that are outside my comfort zone! I love doing that!

Got to get off here now and get busy, I need to finish some borders and I have writing I need to do.

Mystery Quilts Anonymous With all the feedback from yesterday's blog, I just wanted to give you a bit more info to ponder and think on. Firstly, I need to be honest, since our beginning I have given this group and it's members 1,000 percent of myself and my designs. I make NO money off the patterns and time spent. I want to keep the patterns free. I love that so many can make them and love them. I feel we have so much talent out there and I love tapping into that talent and providing patterns you love. I have been trying to think of other ways to make a little money for my "work". SO, I am thinking I will start a "real" blog and use the advertising as a source of income so the patterns and our facebook page remain free. Mystery Quilts Anonymous   I have been in contact with a number of fabric manufacturers and I wanted your opinion on something... I am wondering if you think I should offer kits for our mysteries. If I offered something like that, would you purchase the kit or would you order your own fabrics? I would organise the kit with the manufacturer and you would order direct from them (at least, that's what I am working toward right now). I have heaps of ideas in my head...offering the kits in more than one colourway, including binding yardage, even using fat quarter (or other pre-cuts) packs for scrappy looks....    If you already have a stash like mine, you may not want to order for a specific quilt. But, I would love to make it available for you. If you can think of any other way I can make this easier for you, please please please let me know. New Beginnings, Fun Times...

I am so happy to introduce you to our own blog. This is where all new things will come out and we can have a central place to always go back to. I will keep our "history" here and I can't wait to fill the pages with our fun and our story as we go!
