Mystery Quilts Anonymous

I just wanted you to know I will be somewhat unavailable from 9 January 2020 through 17 January 2020. I will be flying to the USA to help our daughter come home to New Zealand. She has three children and shifting over the ocean is not an easy job to accomplish on your own. I will be on planes, on the road, and looking after grandchildren. We got some US data on my NZ phone so I can do my best to keep up with you. I will be posting clues from there. I will have my computer. I won't be sewing, but I can write and post clues.

I am looking forward to our daughter and grandchildren being home. I love to sew with the kids! Our granddaughter designed a quilt, she is going to help me write the clues and we are going to share it with you! She's pretty good for being so young (she's a tween). 

Well, I need to scoot, I have tons to do today! Have an amazing day!

      I am so excited. Talked to the youngest (6) today...he said I wish it was TODAY!... I just cannot wait!

    Safe travels and don't freat, life will be back to normal before you know it.
    We can All take care of each other if we have questions or problems with quilting.
    We have a lot of unfinished Quilts to work on,or sewing rooms to organize.
    Just have fun and see you back on this sight before to Long

    How wonderful that your family will be closer. IMHO - take care of your daughter and grandchildren . You can put us on the back burner for a while. Safe travels for all of you and God Bless.

Mystery Quilts Anonymous With all the feedback from yesterday's blog, I just wanted to give you a bit more info to ponder and think on. Firstly, I need to be honest, since our beginning I have given this group and it's members 1,000 percent of myself and my designs. I make NO money off the patterns and time spent. I want to keep the patterns free. I love that so many can make them and love them. I feel we have so much talent out there and I love tapping into that talent and providing patterns you love. Mystery Quilts Anonymous   I have been in contact with a number of fabric manufacturers and I wanted your opinion on something... I am wondering if you think I should offer kits for our mysteries. If I offered something like that, would you purchase the kit or would you order your own fabrics? I would organise the kit with the manufacturer and you would order direct from them (at least, that's what I am working toward right now). I have heaps of ideas in my head...offering the kits in more than one colourway, including binding yardage, even using fat quarter (or other pre-cuts) packs for scrappy looks....    If you already have a stash like mine, you may not want to order for a specific quilt. But, I would love to make it available for you. If you can think of any other way I can make this easier for you, please please please let me know. I have a stash that will outlive me, so I am sharing mine with my granddaughters (and those grandsons that want to sew) and we us

New Beginnings, Fun Times...

I am so happy to introduce you to our own blog. This is where all new things will come out and we can have a central place to always go back to. I will keep our "history" here and I can't wait to fill the pages with our fun and our story as we go!
