WOW!!!

Mystery Quilts Anonymous

I am sitting here in astonishment. My older "family" on our Facebook page will know I started this group on 4 July 2018. Here we are at the very end of 2019 and we have surpassed every single expectation for us. We had a hard road getting the the 5,000 member status, but once we hit it, we have been growing almost too fast to count! I guess I should get started on our next milestone quilt! I have our 5,000 quilt "Kindred Spirits" designed and nearly ready for you to sew!

 
I just wanted to say thanks to you, my family, whether old friend or new, for trusting me and sewing with me. I so enjoy having you beside me on this amazing journey! Words just seem too small for the gratitude in my heart! I find family in each of you.

    I joined in August 2018 -- have LOVED sewing with you all!! Your patterns are wonderful - keep up the good work - but make sure to take time for yourself!!

Mystery Quilts Anonymous With all the feedback from yesterday's blog, I just wanted to give you a bit more info to ponder and think on. Firstly, I need to be honest, since our beginning I have given this group and it's members 1,000 percent of myself and my designs. I make NO money off the patterns and time spent. I want to keep the patterns free. I love that so many can make them and love them. I feel we have so much talent out there and I love tapping into that talent and providing patterns you love. I have been trying to think of other ways to make a little money for my "work". SO, I am thinking I will start a "real" blog and use the advertising as a source of income so the patterns and our facebook page remain free. Mystery Quilts Anonymous   I have been in contact with a number of fabric manufacturers and I wanted your opinion on something... I am wondering if you think I should offer kits for our mysteries. If I offered something like that, would you purchase the kit or would you order your own fabrics? I would organise the kit with the manufacturer and you would order direct from them (at least, that's what I am working toward right now). I have heaps of ideas in my head...offering the kits in more than one colourway, including binding yardage, even using fat quarter (or other pre-cuts) packs for scrappy looks....    If you already have a stash like mine, you may not want to order for a specific quilt. But, I would love to make it available for you. If you can think of any other way I can make this easier for you, please please please let me know. New Beginnings, Fun Times...

I am so happy to introduce you to our own blog. This is where all new things will come out and we can have a central place to always go back to. I will keep our "history" here and I can't wait to fill the pages with our fun and our story as we go!
