No Sewing for THREE Days!

I don’t know about you, but the thought of being without my sewing machine for three days makes me a bit anxious. I know heaps of you probably don’t get a lot of time to sew and therefore your time with your machine is precious. I sew all day and not sewing.....I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself. I’m worried I may be out of my element. BUT, I will be busy with our church ladies at the retreat, at the BEACH!!! I’ll be relaxing in the sun and swimming in the ocean for a couple days! Getting all the cooking done in advance so I won’t be over a hot stove all day everyday. 


I look forward to our Mystery Quilt Retreats in 2020, I have so much fun planned! An exclusive mystery, day trips to local sites, fabric shopping (with a bonus), and so much more. Just telling you about it makes me so excited! 

I guess I’ll sign off this short post for now! Just wanted to know what you do when you are machine-less??? I may try to find a fabric store, but I’ll be in no-where-ville without a petrol station. 

Sew for me over the rest of the week and weekend!

Mystery Quilts Anonymous With all the feedback from yesterday's blog, I just wanted to give you a bit more info to ponder and think on. Firstly, I need to be honest, since our beginning I have given this group and it's members 1,000 percent of myself and my designs. I make NO money off the patterns and time spent. I want to keep the patterns free. I love that so many can make them and love them. I feel we have so much talent out there and I love tapping into that talent and providing patterns you love. I have been trying to think of other ways to make a little money for my "work". SO, I am thinking I will start a "real" blog and use the advertising as a source of income so the patterns and our facebook page remain free. Scraps...

  Mystery Quilts Anonymous     I am very interested in how you store your scraps...if you use them and the sizes you cut your larger scraps down to. I keep a bin of crumbs, a bin of anything under a fat quarter, plastic shoe boxes with my 2-1/2" strips and squares by colour, and that doesn't include the fabrics between a quarter yard and one yard.  I am very keen to hear what you do. I need help organising this large selection of scraps! I make every quilt that I put on our Facebook page and others as well....I have SO MANY SCRAPS! Show me pics PLEASE!  I need help!! Deb

New Beginnings, Fun Times...

I am so happy to introduce you to our own blog. This is where all new things will come out and we can have a central place to always go back to. I will keep our "history" here and I can't wait to fill the pages with our fun and our story as we go!
