I wanted to add the poem to our blog. I love this poem and it is how I feel when I am "working" with you. I love sewing beside you and with you in this journey. There is no one I would rather be sewing with than ALL of YOU! I wanted this poem here so we can always come back and read it. I have made some amazing friends along the way.

As we start Kindred Spirits today, our celebration quilt for achieving 5,000 members, I am amazed at our one year (plus a bit) history. I can't wait to move forward and spend the next several years sewing beside you.



Don't forget, just like you like to be challenged to make amazing quilts, I love to be challenged to design amazing quilts for you. I love hearing from you. I love it when you send me pics of things that inspire you, to inspire me to design something special for you. Keep those pics and inspiration coming! Watch out for Dublin Dreams in the future, working with floor tile pics to create something to knock your socks off!

    Debi, I have printed this beautiful poem on fabric and will be adding it to the back of my Kindred Spirits completed quilt, along with my label. It shows exactly who you are as a person; a great friend and a wonderful teacher. Thank you for all that you do for all of us! God Bless You and Yours!

Mystery Quilts Anonymous With all the feedback from yesterday's blog, I just wanted to give you a bit more info to ponder and think on. Firstly, I need to be honest, since our beginning I have given this group and it's members 1,000 percent of myself and my designs. I make NO money off the patterns and time spent. I want to keep the patterns free. I love that so many can make them and love them. I feel we have so much talent out there and I love tapping into that talent and providing patterns you love. I have been trying to think of other ways to make a little money for my "work". SO, I am thinking I will start a "real" blog and use the advertising as a source of income so the patterns and our facebook page remain free. Mystery Quilts Anonymous   I have been in contact with a number of fabric manufacturers and I wanted your opinion on something... I am wondering if you think I should offer kits for our mysteries. If I offered something like that, would you purchase the kit or would you order your own fabrics? I would organise the kit with the manufacturer and you would order direct from them (at least, that's what I am working toward right now). I have heaps of ideas in my head...offering the kits in more than one colourway, including binding yardage, even using fat quarter (or other pre-cuts) packs for scrappy looks....    If you already have a stash like mine, you may not want to order for a specific quilt. But, I would love to make it available for you. If you can think of any other way I can make this easier for you, please please please let me know. I have a stash that will outlive me, so I am sharing mine with my granddaughters (and those grandsons that want to sew) and we us

New Beginnings, Fun Times...

I am so happy to introduce you to our own blog. This is where all new things will come out and we can have a central place to always go back to. I will keep our "history" here and I can't wait to fill the pages with our fun and our story as we go!
